LIED about where I'm going to university to manager!?

At my job interview at subway last week, the manager asked me if I was going to the local university here. I lied and I said yes! I'm actually going to a university in the fall somewhere across the country! I only did this because I have a friend who used to work at the same subway and was fired because the manager found out she was going to a university across the country as well. So what do I do! They're training me to do stuff with the intent that I'll be working all through the fall and even longer!
