What do you think about two (platonic) friends raising a child together?

That sounds good and bad. On one hand, the child would have two funtioning parents who get along well and want to raise it in a loving way. On the other hand, say the 'partners' eventually meet other people and fall in love with other people potentially setting up a broken home for the child. That can happen in any relationship, but if the parents dont love each other or make a commitment to each other i may be more likely. Also, I think that its important for a child to see parents that are in love. It shows them that people can live together, and be in a happy loving relationship.Having a child is stressful on a relationship also. It could break up the friendship. Love and friendship should go together. Without BOTH the relationship will fail.
