What is the average male's sexual arousal response cycle?

A guy friend of mine, Dan, was asked by niece if men can have multiple orgasms like women can? He didn't really know what to say. He said he told her every man is different but he figured approxximately 30 minutes before a man could 'refuel' so to speak. His niece is about 37 yrs old, so I'd say about a 35-40 year old male. How long does it take the average male to have an orgasm & then be ready for the next one?
