Advice for a 17 year old trying to get a job ?

Well I had an interview about last week at this restaurant called Old Spaghetti Factory and the lady told me to bring a letter of recommendation back to her, & that was on Monday & she told me she'll call for a reference check. Well since that was Monday, is it OK for me to call her back or just wait a little longer for to call back. Thanks
